Best Fit favourite Æ Mak today reveals a collaboration with fellow Irish musicians Le Boom: a sprightly, electronic-led cut appropriately titled "Dancing Bug".

Æ Mak's Aoife McCann describes her friendship with Le Boom's Christy Leech and Aimie Mallon as getting on "like a house on fire", following their introduction at Brighton festival The Great Escape just last year. The three wrote "Dancing Bug" together in just a few hours, fleshing out its irrepressable melody with stacatto synth blips and addictive handclaps.

"'Dancing Bug' is about falling into your bedroom after a bad day and dancing like fire to your favourite song; to escape the stuff you just had to deal with," McCann explains of the track. "That energy taking you off into the other world that you're visualising as you dance."

The track's video is appropriately dance-heavy, with Leech, Mallon, and McCann leading an impressively choreographed group in some extremely funky shapes through the streets of Stoneybatter, Dublin City.

Considering "Dancing Bug" has already garnered support from BBC Radio 1, as well as Irish national radio stations Today FM and 2FM, it's no wonder Le Boom are planning to share the stage with Æ Mak on several of their forthcoming headline tour dates. Between May and August, they embark on their biggest tour yet, with Æ Mak joining them in London, Leeds, Newcastle, and Cork.
