A diverse voice in film and television, Louis is known for his bold, genre-bending scores that have shaped a range of acclaimed BAFTA and Emmy-winning productions.

2025 has been a landmark year, with upcoming projects including the feature documentary The British Blood Scandal: Poisoned at School (ITV), the two-part series The Essex Millionaire Murders (ITV), the three-part series Darts Kings (Sky), and the latest six-part season of Surgeons: At the Edge of Life (BBC). He also contributed additional music to the three-part series Devil in the Family: The Fall of Ruby Franke (Disney+) and is currently working on a yet-to-be-announced feature documentary.

His previous work includes the Peabody-winning three-part series Big Oil vs The World (BBC/PBS) and the Emmy-winning feature documentary Amazon Empire (BBC/PBS), as well as the BAFTA-winning series Long Lost Family (ITV). He composed the score for all six series of Amazing Hotels (BBC) and the six-part series The Airport (BBC), and co-composed on acclaimed projects such as Love and Hate Crime (BBC), Gods of Tennis (BBC/PBS), and the long-running thriller series Strike Back (Sky/Cinemax).

Recognized for his distinctive musical voice, Louis blends unpredictability with a deep sensitivity to storytelling. His work draws from a broad spectrum of modern classical influences and beyond, incorporating unconventional orchestrations, evocative melodies, and immersive soundscapes.
