Marina Elderton is a multi award-winning composer for film and television, and the artist behind solo project ELDR. Her original scores have featured in acclaimed productions such as the BAFTA nominated and BIFA winning Poly Styrene: I AM A CLICHE (Sky Arts), Sudden Death: My Sister's Silent Killer (BBC), Such Small Hands (Film4), and Miu Miu Women's Tales (dir. Lynne Ramsay). Her work spans Royal Television Society Award-winning documentaries and internationally screened animations and shorts. Commercially, she has crafted music for major brands including Rimmel, Lynx, Vodafone, Cadbury, and Tesco.
A scholar of the National Film and Television School (UK), Marina blends experimental soundscapes with traditional instrumentation in her distinctive compositions. She is represented by BDi Music and is a member of the Alliance for Women Film Composers.
Her solo project ELDR has garnered support from the PRS Foundation’s Women Make Music Foundation, with her debut album currently in development. Her work has been spotlighted by BBC Introducing, Wonderland magazine, RTÉ News, and she has performed at iconic venues including The Barbican, Café Oto, and St. Pancras Old Church.
