Adult Woman is a London-based queer artist, DJ and producer making campy club cuts and sumptuous synth-pop for the dancefloor and beyond. With influences spanning Grace Jones, Robyn, Crazy P and Confidence Man, her music moves between indie sleaze energy, euphoric queer pop and hazy Ibiza sundowners. Her route to music has been anything but conventional. Originally trained as an opera singer, she dropped out of music conservatoire at 19 to study Russian and spent several years working as a reporter before eventually trading the newsroom for the studio, turning her focus to songwriting, production and DJing. Her forthcoming 2027 debut EP brings together collaborators including Dan Rothman (London Grammar, SG Lewis), Jacana People, Gabriel Gifford (BIG WETT, Orchid) and Wolf Cutt (Mae Muller, AMARA ctk100). Away from the studio, this summer Adult Woman launched Adult Party, a quarterly club night platforming FLINTA* artists and DJs. As a DJ, she has played alongside MØ, Tsatsamis, Elphi and DRIIA, and is a resident at Pop Never Dies, named Time Out’s Best Night Out in London in 2025.
