The Somnambulists is writer-director Richard Jobson's attempt to challenge and provoke us, the voting public, out of our apathy towards the British role in the invasion of Iraq. Utilising a surreal docu-drama approach, we are presented with eerie, powerful monologues from 15 fictional British servicemen and women who - based on interviews with real veterans - candidly share their experiences in Basra.
